What is fractional ownership?
Fractional ownership is a system where multiple individuals or businesses share ownership of a high-value asset, such as a private jet, yacht, or luxury property. Each owner purchases a percentage share, granting them access to the asset for a certain amount of time per year. This model reduces costs compared to full ownership while offering more convenience than traditional rentals. In private aviation, fractional ownership programs, like those offered by Flexjet and NetJets, provide access to a fleet of aircraft with professional management, maintenance, and crew services.
